Update has fixed crashes, orientation, control, and font issues. Game is now playable. Great game. Played on iPod Touch Gen 4.

This game is an incredible buy for anyone into old school RPGs. It has some funny writing, a great assortment of characters, and a battle system that actually makes you think. Bonuses on level up are (for the most part) chosen by the player, which gives you a lot to think about in customizing them. The music in the game is catchy as well. There game does have some issues, though. The D-pad is a bit small which can make it unresponsive. All the characters level 40 abilities seem bugged as well - when you get them, the game shows gibberish on the level up screen. Very disappointing since the level 40 abilities are the characters ultimate abilities.

This game is awesome! I usually hate RPGs but this game and thier other RPG(precipice episode 3) are just so great. There is no infinite grinding and its just so funny. Could you release Breathe of death VII on IOS? that woyuld be really great. Waiting for Precipice episode 4 guys!! keep up your awesome games and your DLC

Iv beaten this game several times on xbox and i love it, and was excited to hear it had arrived on ios as well. The port is almost perfect except the dpad is too small, and with the bulky case i have its difficult to reach where its situated. If the d-pad was made larger and if you were able to move the controls, this would be perfect.

This game laughs at all jrpgs ever made and has an original battle system. If youve been disappointed by square enix for the past years as i have, get this game it will take you back to snes rpgs

very long, but not repetitive or boring rpg with witty and hilarious dialogue and plenty of replayability. one of my favorite games out there.

Game starts after many times but now i got to say pictures in intro are to small and text in conversation is tiny. The sound is awsome by the way

If tinkerhouse developed any other RPGS as well crafted as this one, Id be buying more of their nearly flawless product. The only reason Id not give this game 5 stars is the amount of backtracking may be involved due to the lack of a Map feature, and the awkward d-pad or touch screen controls. Everything else about this game screams mega potential for players to enjoy a good ol fashionable RPG. Original story, well written humor. (I even researched the main character. How interesting!) The greatness of this parody, its a parody of a parody. Monsters w/ brief descriptions, small smirk humor. The hero knows his own reputation. (I usually dont comment on sound or music in retro "classic" games, but tinkerhouse did a fantastic job for the musical score for the battle fights, some area towns, and boss fights.) First rpg where I havent turned off the sound few hours into the game. (Especially if its awful! And many are.) The interface for the graphics slightly remind me of earthbound. From character sprite, the zaniness of the monster names (Zombie: unaware why he is so popular, the soar heart, etc.) Bunch of little references littered throughout the game as well. Book cases, drawers, tombstones. Committed 10+ hours so far, and happily enjoying it. There is a bit of frustration with some battles though, like the cheapness of monsters that attack first and barrage a hero to death. But thats expected. (Save often!)

This is a full port from a pc game and its awesome. I love the humor and addictiveness of it.

Great fun with cool retro graphics and sound and hilarious text/story. Game needs one thing though - cloud support! I badly want to be able to play my saved game on both devices!

Please make an option for larger text on iPhone and iPod touch. Its so tiny now and hard to read. Also make widescreen for iPhone 5.

Love the customization the story and the quirky humor. The d-pad could use some resizing options though

The game is really good. My only issue is the terrible D-Pad. Other than that it is a lot of fun. Well written wit is implemented and funny.

The world of HP Lovecraft meets JRPGs like FF and the result is pure awesomeness. While there are some flaws in presentation and control, overall this is too good to pass up.

Fun, funny, challenging. Theres been a lot of complaints about the movement, but I felt it didnt take that long to get used to. Once I started playing, I couldnt put down. Well worth downloading.

Loved it on XBLA, even better on my phone. D-Pad needs to be larger, then this would be 5 stars.
